Update from Adam Scott - Valero Texas Open Win

I'm taking this week off and enjoying some time at home. It was a great win in San Antonio! I kept feeling my game was right there so I decided to add San Antonio to my schedule, I had never played there before but I felt like it was a good date for a three week stretch. I was finally able to put it altogether. It had been awhile since I had done that on the TOUR. I made a lot of key putts coming down the stretch, I hit some good shots and a few bad shots but it was great to be in position where the juices were flowing. Greg Norman designed the course and when I first played it early that week I felt like the landscape looked very similar to Australia and I had a feeling that an Aussie would do well. I'm just very happy that Aussie was me! I hope to carry the momentum to The Memorial which will be my next tournament.

I posted it on Facebook and Twitter but I also want to take a moment here to thank everyone for their support and congratulatory messages. It truly means a lot to me. It's been a couple of years since I've won on the US TOUR and it's been a long road back but I've been working hard to get there. The work never really goes away in this sport because there's always some guy ready to take your place. Just know I never gave up and one of the reasons is because I've had such great support so I want to say a huge thank you!

I'm going to spend the weekend watching some Aussie football and catching up with my mates. Next week I'll get back into practice with my swing coach and preparations for Ohio.

Enjoy your weekend!

I second Dan's question in why Adam switched over to the D3 after gaming with the D2 for quite some time??  Thanks Titleist for everything.  Hopefully Adam can pull another victory this week in Ohio.

Adam, I watched the entire tournament and I must say that your game looked great.  Everything clicked for you and you were firing on all cylinders.  Great win!!  Keep up the great work, and remember "The question isn't why you play Titleist, but why you would play anything else."

P.S.--I love the new Scotty Cameron you're using.  I wish I could get my hands on one of those.

How does Adam currently mark his golf ball, because he didn't have the black dot between the name and the number I have seen in the past with him?  Looked as though he had some dots around the side stamp.

Congratulations to Adam Scott!  What are the specs of Adam's wedges, more specifically, the shafts he uses and flexes?

Why did Adam turn to the 909D3 and why the increase in loft to 10.5 degrees?  Just interested to see why the big change.
