PGA Show: The Titleist Experience with Michael Breed - The New Pro V1 and Pro V1x

Posted: January 29, 2011

With the launch of the New Pro V1 and Pro V1x it has been non-stop on the floor of the Titleist booth here at the 2011 PGA Merchandise Show.  To give you an inside look at the Titleist experience straight from the showroom floor we asked our good friend Michael Breed, Titleist Advisory Staff Member and host of The Golf Channel's "The Golf Fix," to provide a guided tour. Check out the sights and sounds as Michael catches up with our product experts to learn more about the latest news from Titleist.

In our first installment, Michael Breed and Michael Mahoney, director of golf ball product management, discuss the New Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls. Check out the video below to learn more about the features and benefits of the new golf balls.

How do you tell the difference between 2011 ball and previous years?

Jerry

i changed to titleist over 6 years ago whilst having a handicap of 14. i now play off 5 and and must give my thanks to team titleist as the change has made me so confident from tee to green. Titleist ball description can be no more correct. The NO1 BALL IN GOLF.

Many thanks

Jerry

I am 75 years young, a member of Sonterra Country Club.  Titleist had a demo day two months ago and introduced the the Titelist Pro Vx, I received four balls from your representative and used them the next day.  Needless to say I have purchased two dozen and will use them until you make something better.  I shot my age three days later with your 910 D2 driver and AP-1 new Irons.  I hit the driver 25 to 50 yards farther and the irons straighter and with the new Pro Vx the ball goes farther as it has a lot of top spin.  I am going to buy the new Titleist 910F Fairway Wood sometime this month.  Thank you and keep up the good R&D!

Sorry I got distracted & sent the previous email before I was ready..  As I was saying I am a 10 Hadicapper & don't play much from Nov. To Mar..  I paly the Pro V1 X, My  2 question's are: (1)  I don't loose many golfballs. I get 2 or 3 rounds out of a ball is not uncommon. Does the performance diminish with that much play. (2) Storage, If I leave my clubs in my car for weeks with tempature variasion Does that hurt there performance.  Whats the best way/ temperature for storage.  I still One sleeve from a dozen I won in march of last year & 3 sleeves from another dozen I recieved on Fathers day 2010.
