Beginning the final day of competition with a one-shot lead, Bo Van Pelt relied on his Titleist Pro V1 golf ball to tally six final-round birdies on his way to a winning score of 16-under 272 at the European Tour’s ISPS HANDA Perth International at Lake Karrinyup Golf Club. Joining Van Pelt in the winners' circle were Pro V1 loyalist Dae-Sub Kim (Korean Tour), Pro V1x loyalists Thaworn Wiratchant (Asian Tour), Toru Taniguchi (Japan Tour) and Teboho Sefatsa (Sunshine Tour). With these five wins, Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x players have now won 162 times across the worldwide professional tours in 2012, more than nine times the nearest competitor with 18 and more than all competitors combined.
"It's a great feeling to come out on top," said Van Pelt. "You know, it was fun. That's why you practice is to give yourself a chance to win with nine holes to go."Van Pelt finished two shots clear of Titleist Brand Ambassador Jason Dufner, who posted a final score of 14-under 274. “It's good to get back out and compete and nice to be in the hunt after a couple weeks off and after The Ryder Cup. So you know, nothing to be ashamed of. Just got to tighten up a couple things,” said Dufner.Three more shots back at 11-under 271, was third place finisher and Titleist Pro V1x golf ball loyalist Alejandro Canizares. Canizares held the share of the first round lead after a bogey-free, seven birdie 65 on Thursday.Michael Hendry (Pro V1x) took solo fourth place with a 9-under 279, as Titleist golf ball players occupied the top four positions on the leaderboard and seven of the top 10.A total of 102 players in the field played Titleist golf balls, more than five times the nearest competitor with 19.

ASIAN TOUR: Pro V1x loyalist Thaworn Wiratchant won the 2012 Hero Indian Open at KGA Golf Club in Bangalore, India, for his third win on the Asian Tour in 2012. One shot back in the 18th fairway with a 7-iron in hand, Wiratchant’s approach finished a foot from the hole where he tapped in to force the playoff he would eventually win.Shiv Kapur (Pro V1x) finished fourth at 12-under 272, while Asian Tour rookie and Titleist Brand Ambassador Arnond Vongvanij (Pro V1x, 913D3 driver, 910F fairway metals, 909H hybrid, CB irons, Vokey Design Spin Milled/SM4 wedges, Scotty Cameron Red X Putter) closed with a final round 2-under 69 to finish in a tie for fifth place at 10-under 274 and secure his card for 2013.Titleist led the field with 105 golf ball players, five times the nearest competitor with 21. Titleist also was first in iron sets (38) and sand, lob and approach wedges (144).
JAPAN TOUR: Titleist Pro V1x loyalist Toru Taniguchi did not need a clutch putt to win on Sunday. Taniguchi holed his 110-yard third shot on the par-5 18th for eagle to successfully defend his title at the Bridgestone Open.Taniguchi closed with a 5-under 66 for a 12-under 272 total to claim his second win of the season and 19th-career JGTO title.Hiroyuki Fujita (Pro V1) posted 68 to take second at 11-under 271. Dong-Hwan Lee (Pro V1x, 913D2 driver, 913Fd fairway metal, 913H hybrids, MB irons, Vokey Design SM4 wedges, Scotty Cameron GoLo Mid putter) closed with 69 to share third place at 10 under.Titleist was the top choice in golf balls with 43 players in the field trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x for their success. Titleist was also first in sand, lob and approach wedges (88).
KOREAN TOUR/ONEASIA: Titleist Brand Ambassador Dae-Sub Kim fired a final round 2-under 69 to win the Kolon Korea Open at WooJeong Hills Country Club for his second victory of the season.

SUNSHINE TOUR: Teboho Sefatsa (Pro V1x) earned his first victory on the Sunshine Tour as Titleist golf ball players claimed four of the top five positions at the BMG Classic.Sefasta carded a final round of 4-under 68 for a 10-under 206 total for a one-shot victory. Matthew Carvell (Pro V1x) and Desvonde Botes (Pro V1x) tied for third at 8-under 208. Jake Redman (Pro V1) finished in solo-fifth, another shot back.Titleist was the most played golf ball in the event with 112 players trusting Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls for their success, nearly three times the nearest competitor with 40.
PGA TOUR: Six of the top 10 finishers trusted a Titleist golf ball for their success at the McGladrey Classic, including runner-up David Toms, who played a new Titleist Pro V1x prototype golf ball for the first time.The McGladrey Classic was the third week of of the seeding and tour validation process for the new Pro V1 and Pro V1x prototype golf balls on the PGA Tour.
