When Jason Dufner steps up to the first tee this week in New Orleans, he’ll be looking to defend his title as the 2012 Zurich Classic champion.
Last year, Jason trusted his Pro V1 golf ball and bag full of Titleist equipment to a number of clutch shots and huge putts - including a 44-foot par save on the 16th hole that helped get him into a playoff and eventually into the winner’s circle for the first time on the PGA Tour.
This win also kicked-off a string of very exciting weeks for Jason.
Six days later, Jason and his fiancée were happily married. And to put a punctuation mark on the festivities, Jason went out and captured another PGA Tour title by winning the HP Byron Nelson the following weekend.
To complete his 2012 résumé, Jason added eight top 10 finishes to his two victories and also played in the Ryder Cup where he compiled a 3-1 record as a first-time member of Team USA.
So, with all these firsts and major career milestones coming in 2012, Team Titleist was eager to check in with Jason to find out what motivates him each and every week and at what point he knew he could make it out on tour.
