For Australian golf, Titleist Brand Ambassador Adam Scott's historic Masters victory was the triumph of a lifetime but it was also in a class of its own for more than one reason.
Adam and Titleist golf ball loyalist Angel Cabrera earned world-wide acclaim for the sportsmanship and respect they displayed for each other during and after the tension-packed playoff at The Masters in April.
And in Melbourne last night, Adam's performance and sportsmanship were honored as he received the Sport Australia Hall of Fame’s most prestigious award, "The Don".
Named after Sir Donald Bradman, the award acknowledges not just superior performance but other qualities the legendary cricketer held in high regard, including the capacity to inspire the nation.
Adam, who is in Bermuda preparing for next week's PGA Grand Slam, said by video message that he was "humbled and honored" to join the many great champions who had preceded him as the award recipient.
Congratulations, Adam from all us here at Team Titleist.
