After a break for the WGC event last week, the European Tour moved on to Indoa this week from South Africa a fortnight ago - the venue for the Avantha Masters is the Jaypee Greens GC near Delhi.

At 7,347 yards and playing to a par of 72, the course features a lot of water as its key hazard. The rough has stayed down due to cold weather preceding the event and the greens are running to about 10' on the Stimpmeter. The key to low scoring will be hitting the small greens in regulation and making putts on what is not the fastest dancefloor.

Titleist is the overwhelming golf ball of choice at the Avantha Masters with 103 players relying on the unmatched performance of Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf balls, more than five times as many as the nearest competitor with 19.

As we approach the end of the second round, the scoring has been low - it will be interesting to see if this changes over the weekend if any thunderstorms roll in.

At the time of writing, nine of the top 10 and ties have placed their trust in either a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball.

We're on our way to Malaysia now for the Maybank Malaysia Open in Kuala Lumpur now, so stay tuned to Team Titleist and Twitter (@TitleistEurope) for more inside the ropes insight on the European Tour.
