Me and My Golf Help Golfers Trust Driver Again | Back In Play

The best driver days feel different. A golfer steps onto the tee, sees the line, and swings with the kind of commitment that makes the game more fun.

For many members of the
@GolfersJournal  Broken Tee Society, driver has become the club they would rather avoid. The misses are familiar: high right, quick left, too much curve, not enough trust, and the quiet decision to reach for a four iron, five wood, or two iron instead.

Piers Ward and Andy Proudman from
@meandmygolf.  join Titleist fitter Lucas Bro to take a closer look at why those misses are happening. The answer is not always a bigger swing change. Sometimes the numbers show that the player is closer than they think, and the right driver setup can unlock a very different result.

Across the fittings, GTS becomes the tool for solving each player’s version of the problem. More loft helps one golfer manage an upward attack angle and free up movement. More playable spin helps another keep the ball in the air and online. A different center of gravity position helps tighten face control and reduce the two-way miss.

That is where the New GTS driver lineup gives Titleist fitters more ways to match the club to the player. GTS2, GTS3 and GTS4 each bring a different balance of speed, stability, spin control, forgiveness and adjustability, allowing the fitting to work around the shot a golfer actually needs on the course.

The change shows up in more than the launch monitor. Straighter flights. Tighter dispersion. More carry. More control. And, most importantly, a driver that starts to feel like an option again.

For golfers who feel miles away from trusting driver, these fittings show that confidence is often closer than it appears. With the right combination of head design, settings and expert fitting, the driver can become a club golfers want to reach for again.
