Ionomer

Ionomers are durable plastics that are used in golf ball construction. Ionomer golf balls are known for their resilience and lower spin characteristics, making them ideal for players looking for distance and control off the tee. Ionomer blends are used to form casing layers layers in premium, tour-played golf balls (Titleist models include Pro V1®, Pro V1x®, Pro V1x Left Dash, and AVX®). These inner layers contribute to overall performance and can be used to fine-tune spin rates, especially in multi-layer designs. Blends of ionomers are also used to form golf ball cover materials for many other Titleist golf ball models, including ionomer cover golf balls like Titleist Velocity™, Tour Soft, and TruFeel™. These blends provide a range of firm to soft feel while providing enhanced durability, making them a great choice for recreational and distance-focused golfers.
