1st Hole In One

In the Scott Carter Tournament in Broken Arrow Oklahoma, at the Indian Springs Country Club - Windmill course on the 132 yard 17th hole I hit a pitching wedge for my first hole-in-one. It was hit as good as I can hit it, landing about 3 inches short of the hole, bouncing past the hole then spinning back into the hole. After watching the ball disappear I turned around and my group was going crazy. Having played golf for nearly 40 years, including on the high school and college teams I was afraid my first hole-in-one would be on a terrible shot. So to have the first one be on a great shot, and did I mention that it was on a hole with a $10,000 jewelry gift card, and win something that was fantastic. And the fact that my wife will benefit from the gift card gives me future years of guilt free golf!
