Until my oldest chrildren showed some interest in the game, I had all but quit playing ten years earlier. I used to play to a 4 handicap, but these days I would judge it closer to 15. It was a Friday afternoon & the kids were out of school for fall break. I had the chance to slip away from the office & collected my oldsest son (14)& off to the course we went. I had developed a Titleist phobia very early on in my playing days& as a result I play a competitors ball. But on this day I decided that enough time had passed since I was a sereous golfer that I would give it a shot. After some counseling from one of the guys in the pro shop I purchased one sleeve of the Pro v1x. No sense in buying an entires dozen I thought, probably won't like them anyway. As if the hole in one wasn't enough, it came during a three hole blitz that went, birdie, ace, birdie!
Needless to say I am a convert & will be playing Titleist again.
P.S. I do have one other hole in one to my credit, but I didn't see that one go down. The pin was cut tight behind a bunker & we couldn't see the bottom of the stick.
