Well, in some ways, I could have picked a better time to acheive my first Ace.
It was in my end of year tournament for our Monday Night Mens Matchplay League.
While it was great for my team and skins of course, it cost me a fortune later in the clubhouse.
It was a blind pin placement and while I liked the direction of the ball flight, I felt I may have hit it too well.
After looking around the green and the Love Grass behind, one of my playing partners kept saying check the cup, that was in. So one of my other partners walked over looked down said, "could you please come over here and get your ball out of the cup so I can putt".
What a great moment. I never thought that would happen to me.
