This was my first High School Varsity golf tournament, and is a big one. This 54 hole, two day event attracts the best schools in Texas. It's a breast cancer awareness and fundraising tournament called "Swing for the Cure" host by the North East ISD in San Antonio, TX. I had just switched to Titleist balls earlier in the week.

The par 3 eighteenth hole was playing over 120 yards to the pin with about an 8 mph wind directly into us. I hit a high 9 iron that fell about 12 feet past the hole. The ball hit, and spun back tracking right at the hole and seemed to hang on the lop for a few seconds before falling. This is my first hole in one, and I can't think of a better time for it than at my first high school varsity tournament and for such a great cause.
