Playing in my clubs annual Ryder cup style match play event with another local club. My partner had his competitor beat the whole round, easy points for the team. I had my struggles in a good match that left me 4 down with 4 holes i proceeded to make my first ace on that hole with a perfect shot that landed just past the hole and spun back in. High fives all around and the beer tab was already started. Once the rest of the group played there shots I told my opponent his putt was good before we got in the carts. Went on to lose my match but I learn a valuable lesson. Always offer to buy a few rounds when you make an ace, even when it's 30 guys who are more ham willing to drink. I got my second ace 4 days later on the same hole.
