1 Hop Jar

Standing on a slightly elevated tee at Twin Lakes Golf and Swim Club on the 16th hole of the Links (middle 9) of a 27 hole course. Was a breath of down wind the flag was cut in the front center of a diagonal peanut (in the shell) shaped green. 174 Yards was the number staring me in the face and messing with my decision making a little bit. After a small debate I pulled the 7 iron from my bag with the mentality of “just smooth it”. Address, take away, tempo, contact and follow through had the ball high in the air with a 2-3 yard fade and the ball lands 2 feet in front of the hole and slam dunks into the cup upon landing. BOOM first hole in one and I was in heaven. #1 on my bucket list is complete. Patrick Giordano, Age 34. 6 Handicap/20 years of playing golf.
