As we pulled up to the 16th tee box, I offered up to the other players in my group the option to call it a day and get inside the clubhouse for a cold one. Seeing how I was down a hole in match play, my brother wasn't letting me off the hook. After he hit 6 iron to 10ft, I reconsidered and walked back to my bag. 184 yards into the wind...I went with my original club selection and held on to the 5 iron. We could see the ball go in, but from experience, I didn't get too excited because you never know when you get up to the green. Sure enough, it was in the hole for my first ACE! To top it all off, I was using my custom #81 Pro V1X with my initials on the side. Such an incredible feeling!
