Was playing with my 17 year old son on May 15, 2016. We generally play Sunday afternoons and were pushing the sunlight a little as the last group on the course. The course is our favorite local - Pine Meadows in Mundelein, IL. It was a nice evening but our scores weren't great - then we hit #17. Pin was up, playing a short 140 from the Blue tees. Hit a perfect 8 iron that one-hopped into the hole! My kid made more noise than I trying to get the couple in front of us to notice. They didn't look back or make eye contact. The clubhouse was empty except for some workers who couldn't drink so saved a ton of $$$! Great moment and wouldn't want to share it with anyone else but the kid.
