I was playing in our Men's Club in Topeka, KS, on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 with Jim Simonson. On hole # 8, I used a 9 iron on a 102 yard par 3, using a Titleist Pro V1x. The ball hit 1" to the right of the hole and with a little left spin hit the pin and dropped in the hole.
It took 45 years but now I can mark this of off my Bucket List. Pretty exciting.
