I was playing at Monterey Pines Golf Course in Monterey, California with my golfing group on October 14, 2017. When I got to the 7th hole it was a 155 yard downhill slanting green to the right. I used my #4 Hybrid Club. I swung a nice easy swing and the ball took off toward the hole, I could not see the hole just the tip of the flag. One of my friends had moved down the golf path and saw my ball go into the hole. He gave out a big yell and told me it had gone into the hole. That was my first hole-in-one in 40 years. THEN: On October 29, 2017 at the same course, Monterey Pines Golf Course in Monterey, California I got my second hole-in-one. I couldn't believe my luck, I was on the 11th hole with my #4 Hybrid Club, 165 yards from the hole. I swung with a slight headwind in my face, I watched the ball bounce twice and role into the hole. What was special about this hole-in-one I was playing with my good friend of 55 years. Whom I've known since I was 12.
