I normally play Titleist Pro V 1 x golf balls exclusively. On the morning of May 10th I bought a sleeve of the NXT Tour in yellow, from the pro shop. Just wanted to try the yellow ball. Playing well that day but not putting great, had just come off the 12th green having 3-putted for par on the par five hole. Hit 5 iron on the 13th hole, playing 179 yards that day according to my rangefinder. Nice high shot with a slight cut. Landed about eight feet short and left, and rolled right at the pin. I knew it was going to be close, then my playing partner yelled, "it went in". I couldn't see the ball anymore but pulled out my rangefinder just to make sure it wasn't in the shadow of the flag. Both of my aces have come at Mallard Creek GC, the first on #7, and the second on #13. The first was from 177 yards and the second was from 179 yards, both with the same Titleist 5 iron, both with Titleist golf balls. The first one was also struck well, right at the flag, but I did not get to see it go in because of a mound in front of the green that blocked the actual hole. The first one was exciting because it was the first, but it was nice to be able to watch the second one disappear!
