April 15 will never be tax day for me again. After playing golf for almost 40 years, with a handicap as low as 4 and sitting at 12 now, I had never had a hole in one. Never that is until April 15th, 2017. At Clear Creek Golf Club in Houston TX, on the 7th hole, 105 yards, with a gap wedge, I watched the ball land and roll toward the cup. Then it disappeared. At first shock, not sure if we had seen what we just saw. Then the celebration began. After almost 40 years, and many near misses, the wait is finally over. With a Titleist Pro V-1X. I have hit many many Titleist in my life, but this one goes on the wall, never to be hit again.
