Got my first hole-in-one on June 8, 1973. Nearly 43 years later, I can now say I have two! And the second was on a Par 4! It was on June 1, 2016, on the 8th hole at Avalon at Buhl Park in Sharon, Pennsylvania. From the Senior tee, it is a dogleg left 255 yard par 4. The green is pretty much invisible from the tee. I hit driver right at the corner of the dogleg with a hook, and it looked like a great tee shot. From out in the fairway, we could see my ball and it looked very close to the hole. As we approached the green, we realized it was wedged against the pin but definitely in the hole! What a thrill for a 66-year-old who has played since 1962! Thank you Titleist for making the best golf balls in the world! I will keep this Pro V1X as a momento.
