With almost four months remaining in 2011, there's no telling how many more holes-in-one Dave Hutchinson of Lakeland might make at Big Cypress in North Lakeland.

Hutchinson, 69, recorded his fifth ace of the year at Big Cypress' South Course on Aug. 30.

"I just can't explain it. It's unbelievable,'' Hutchinson said Tuesday. "I can't make a 10-foot putt, but I can make a 150-yard shot.''

"Hutch'' aced the 13th hole from 163 yards with a driver on Aug. 30.

His quintet of aces started Feb. 16 on the 13th hole with the driver.

On March 24, he aced the 15th hole with a 5-wood from 126 yards, then did it again on May 27.

And on April 14, the 11-handicapper hit driver on No. 8 from 160 yards.

"Before, I felt a little sheepish, but now if I get one, I get one, I guess,'' he said.
