7-11-15 hole in one

I had been playing poorly most of the season and it seemed I couldn't get untracked. I took a couple of lessons and still had problems staying consistent. My handicap had ballooned to a 14 and I wasn't happy on the golf course. I do enjoy golf but decent play was escaping me until...I made a couple of adjustments and in the past 2 weeks it started to show up in my scores I went to the course on 7-11 hoping to continue some decent play. I went out that Saturday morning with 3 buddies and was playing well (for me) and shot a 3 over 39 on the front I then parred 10&11 but took a double on 12. I went to the 13 th tee a par 3 playing 171 this day and waited my turn, last, to hit. I pulled my 5 iron and made a nice smooth swing. As soon as I hit the ball I felt it would be good. I looked up as the ball was half way to the hole on s straight line at the pin. My playing partners all started yelling for it to go in, a split second later it bounced once, rolled and disappeared into the cup. A loud roar, for four guys, erupted and one player threw his drunk in the air and ran over and picked me up, another threw his range finder in the air which sadly, landed in the cart path and broke, and the other slapped my back so hard it felt like sunburn. The group in front of us on the 14 tee came down to congratulate me and many fist bumps, high fives and even hugs ensued. I picked the ball out of the hole and raised my arms to the applause, a great feeling. I then went to 14 tee a 450 yard par 4 with adrenaline pumping. I promptly got a double bogey and a 6-1-6 on my scorecard for holes 12-13-14. I settled down and finished with a three over 38 on the back for a 77. We then went to the clubhouse for a drink with all who were there and enjoyed the rest of the day
