I was playing in a Men's Club Tournament on 04/02/16 at Mission Trails Golf Course in San Diego California. I arrived at the 7th hole which was playing 153 yards, slightly uphill. I grabbed my 7 iron and my Pro-V1 then headed to the tee box. I have been working on some swing change and still feeling a bit uncomfortable with my setup. I put a smooth swing on it and it was heading straight toward the pin. One of my playing companions said "Get in the hole". The ball hit 2 inches left of the pin, bounced forward, and then spun back into the hole. The good news is that I played good enough after the hole in one to win my flight in the tournament. The bad news is that I had to buy everyone in the Men's Club a drink. Nothing like a $320.00 bar tab. Thank goodness for hole in one insurance!
