I had three hole-in-ones before the age of 18 in the 80's, had also had one in 1990, 2000, 2004 and now 2012. Four different decades. This time I hit a perfect cut 8-iron that hit ten feet short of the hole and rolled to the edge of the cup and seemed to pause on the lip before dropping in. Used a Titleist Pro V1x that I had found. I usually use a Pro V1 ball, thinking about switching to the V1x now.
