well. it couldn't have happened on a more memorable day! No.1 it was the Anniversary of the 9/11 attach on our Nation, and #2, Sept. 11 is my daughter's birthday as well. Now i can add a #3 to this date!! a hole in one and my first to date. I teed off at the 2nd hole and hit the ball fairly well, but it didn't feel like it hit it fully. However it headed straight for the flag. You could see the top of the flag but not the green dadgummit. I rode up to the green and saw 2 balls quite a bit away from the flag but on the green and neither was mine. There was a wrought iron fence 20 yards beyond the green which was someone's back yard. I saw a ball laying in the grass about 20 ft in the back yard. However, the gate was locked, so it picked up a ball out of my bag, assuming my ball was in the back yard, and pitched to within about 25' feet of the flag. My friend, which was closest to the pin, pulled the flag out of the hole and he heard a ball rattling around in the cup. He pulled it out, and low and behold it was a Titleist 2 NXP Tour ball which i had hammered into the hole for my first hole in one. !!! UNBELIEVABLE!!
