As an active duty Naval Officer, recently returned from a six month deployment, I had not been able to play much recently but joined a friend for a round at the North Course at Torrey Pines on a beautiful Saturday morning. After a couple of sloppy bogeys, we reached the short par 3 where my friend hit a beautiful shot beyond the hole which spun back and nearly went in the hole, stopping inches from the cup. I told him that the I guessed that the only way to get inside him was to hole out. I then struck my 56 degree Vokey wedge about as well as I can and the ball landed 10 feet beyond the cup then spun back into the hole. A great feeling after 41 years as a golfer. Love the Vokey wedges and really love the new NXT Tour S!
