The Sugar Creek Country Club in Piggott, Arkansas was having a 2-gal Scramble on June 6, 2018. My friend, Katie, and I registered for the tournament. Just before the 9:00 am shotgun start, the teams scattered to their tee boxes. We were on the 117 yard #7, the horn blew and I approached the tee box with with my 9-iron. Looking down at the green from the hill and viewing the rough between me and the green, I walked back to grab my 7-iron from my bag. I teed up, took my stance, and swung my club. To my surprise, my Titleist ball flew high and dropped straight down on the green and shot to the cup. I had just aced it! One can imagine the screams coming from me and the three witnesses! We were so loud that the players on the 6th green were celebrating with us. I am 71 years old, been playing 10 years, and this was my second hole-in-one, both using a Titleist ball!
