ALBATROSS Harmony Club Hole 6 339 Yd Par 4

ALBATROSS Harmony Club Hole 6 339 Yd Par 4

It was another beautiful September day at the Harmony Club in Timnath CO. My Father in Law, Rick, and I decided that we could try and get 18 holes in before dark. The 6th Hole is a beautiful par 4 with an elevated tee, water along the entire right side of the fairway, with a narrow green straight ahead protected by bunkers http://www.harmonyhomescolorado.com/golf - Course Data

Rick hit his drive off to the left and it filtered down perfectly to the fairway leaving 80 yards in for his second shot. I decided to go for the green thinking that I could get it close to the dance floor or at least in a green side bunker. The drive was hit high, straight, and right at the pin. Due to the location of the pin, we could not see the ball land. After Rick hit his approach shot, I decided to walk towards the bunkers and I expected to see my ball lying in the sand. After checking the bunkers with no luck, I began checking the face of the bunker for a plugged ball.

As Rick walked down from the back of the green, he noticed a large ball mark on the front fringe. He then walked towards the pin, looked in the cup, and congratulated me on my first hole in one! I didnt believe him at first, but then I noticed the same ball mark on the front part of the fringe. I walked towards the hole, looked down, and saw my Titleist ball at the bottom of the cup!

We ended up finishing hole 18 in the dark and my most memorable round of golf was officially in the books!
