All but 2 were a Titleist

All but 2 were a Titleist

After scoring a 12 on the previous par 5 hole while playing golf with my father and friends at age 14 i carded my first HIO with an orange wilson pro staff ball on tax day April 25th, 1983. It occurred on the 4th hole at my home town course an uphill 136 yd par 3. It was a blind shot, never saw it go in. It would take 7 more years to card my 2nd ace and as luck would have it, it occurred on the same day April 15th in 1990 while paying with my father (a white Top Flite Plus). My 3rd ace was completed again on the same hole/same course a few years later using a Titleist Professional ball this time with both parents in the group. It would take another several years, an entry into the golf business and serving as now the GM/Head Professional at my home town course as a Titleist dealer playing all the clubs and wearing the gear to get my 4th HIO again on the same hole and accompanied by my father using a Titleist Tour Prestige 90. 2 summers later on the same hole I dropped mr. Titleist Prov1 for my fifth ace and second as the club pro (these last 2 were quite special in my mind as the pro and of course my father present too). Ace number 6 would be completed on a 145 yd downhill 7th hole in the presence of my father in-law this time in 2006 using a Titleist Prov1. It was now 2010 and I left the golf business to pursue a sales career but purchased a season pass at a local club and played 5 nights a week after work to keep my game up. It paid off and I scored another uphill blind ace on the 7th hole about 140 yds long while playing with my now 73 year old father who retired near our new home and yes I was using a Titleist Prov1. At age 49 my most recent ace (#8) occurred in 2018 on a short downhill over water 135 yd par 3 using a Titleist Prov1 and I was accompanied again by my then 84 year old father. Numbers 6 and 8 were the only ones I viewed enter the hole. It's been a great journey for my father and I, we will be loyal Titleist men until the end. Thank you for checking out my story. May the golf gods bless you with an ace in a future golf outing. First 5 aces on hole number 4 @ Ritzville Municipal Golf course, 6th on hole 7 at Echo Falls Golf club, 7th on hole 7 at Kenwanda Golf Course and 8th on hole 13 at Snohomish Golf Club.
