All over it

Played in an Annual Charity Event on 8/24 at Wolf Run Golf Club in Reno NV, for Fallen Peace Officers widows and children in Memory of Keith Hashimoto, Reno PD. Shotgun start put us off #8 @ 8am. Hit 'em ok for the first few and the team was under par (select-shot format). Rolled up to the par 3 17th, 143 yds and a shot I've played many times before. For me, it's a smooth 8 no muscle. Hit it where I wanted and it was all over the stick but I didn't see it land. As we all approached the green, no one could see any balls on the green, we found two of four not playable & dropped for the team. I was angry, but hit a usable chip to about 10 feet. On the green I repaired two brand new ball divots thinking one was mine for sure. One of the team pulled the pin and heard a funny sound, lo and behold I shouldn't have been angry, I shoulda looked in the hole! I usually have faith in myself, and always count on my Titleists but never made the connection until my teammate started asking me about my ball marking... Thanks Titlist for Lifetime Ace #2...No Flukes!!!
