Almost fifty years since my first hole in one

Almost fifty years since my first hole in one

Today I was playing at Los Altos Golf Course located in Alburquerque, NM at the nine hole course, playing with two women that belong to the same club. Respectfully they are in their early nineties, I am 66 and was using a Titleist Pro V1. We were on the ninth hole 117 yards long. I used my 7 iron and hit a nice ball right at the pin, I thought it was just short of the hole. When Virgina and Margret got near the green I was still trying to locate my ball. I started to go towards the bunker to see if the ball bounced in it, I walked past the cup, looked down and there was my ball. I yelled out to Virgina and told her I got a hole-in-one. Of course none of us had a cell phone with a camera to document this twice in a life time event. Never the less it was a monumental moment in golf. My first hole in one was in 1967 and I was a senior in high school. We were playing at little rec located in Long Beach, Ca. It was hole number three a 125 yards long. I used a 9 iron for that shot. Of course never got a picture of that one either, there were no cell phones back then. Hole in ones, you always remember and I won't be forgetting this one either. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
