Playing Top of the World Golf Course, in Clearwater, Florida, on April 1st resulted in my first hole-in-one. The round started out with my old pitching wedge breaking on the 2nd hole. The next hole the 3rd, a 160 yard par 3 brought me must better luck. I teed off last in our group. I lost the ball quickly in the sun and wasn't sure where it was. As I approached the green I saw 3 other balls but mine wasn't in view. One of the others said it was in the hole, even though he hadn't approached the pin. I said, "You know it's April 1st don't you Mike" He said I saw it go in. I strolled over to the pin and looked down, sure enough, there was my Titleist DT SoLo at the bottom of the cup. Now I can say I got a hole-in-one on April Fool's Day. Do you think there will be any doubters?
