Back in November 2014 I was playing the final of our pairs better ball match against the two best players at the club. We managed to get through the front 9 all square, pleased that we were in the game as we reached the par 3 10th next to our club house. I was third up and hit my ap2 8 iron at the pin, watching it spin back towards the hole and drop in for my first hole in one. I went mental, the whole club house came out to see what had happened. I had always dreamed off this and had come close a couple of times but mainly on drivable par 4s. Having a hole in one is one thing but seeing it go in is another. We were now 1 up and up next was our signature hole par 5 11th, which also was the toughest hole on the course, stroke index 1. I gathered my composure and struck my drive over the water and into the middle of the fairway, I now have 240 yards into the green, again over water,my ball landed on the green and narrowly missed the hole by inches of an albatross. Now without realising I had a putt for back to back eagles. I lined my putt up and rolled it in to the center of the cup to achieve back to back eagles. We went 2 up and I am now 5 under for my round. We ended up winning our match 2&1, beating last year's winners. I have always played Titleist and it is fair to say I am a Titleist man for life. This is my story and it never gets old and I am pleased to tell it again today. Greg Kemsley Thank you to Team Titleist for retweeting my hole in one back in 2014, which I think was my first ever tweet. Not a bad way to start an account.
