It was an unseasonably warm day in New Hampshire on 12/26 and my brother-in-laws and I decided to get out for one more round of golf before the snow flies. The only course open near our house was the Loudon CC which we have never played before. We got there around 9:00, the course was packed, and we were on the 1st hole at 9:20. Great day, temps in the high 50's, course in great shape! We made our way around the course and on the 17th hole, par 3, 145 yards I hit my 8 iron and it looked good but we lost the track in the sun but heard the ball hit. When we walked up to the green, there was a ball about 3 feet to the left of the pin. I said to my brother-in-law, "That's your ball", he argued that it had to be mine but I knew I was not left of the stick. I thought I was short.. He walked up to check the ball, it was his, I started towards the front of the green thinking I was short, and he started to go bat *** crazy!!! My ball was in the cup!!! We celebrated for what must have been 5 minutes on the green, making all kinds of noise, grabbed our stuff and finished out the round before buying everyone on the course a drink!!!
