4/16/17 (The River Club, North Augusta, SC) - Lately I had began thinking that I was putting too much spin on the ball so I started playing the Prov1x. For the first three holes I hit three fairways and two greens. I was even coming in to number four. I shot the distance with my MG Golf Rangefinder (pretty quality device for the price) and got around 130 - there was a small bit of headwind. Grabbed my nine-iron, stepped up to the ball with great confidence based on the last few holes played. Struck it well, everyone said great shot. Unfortunately, there is a front bunker with a high lip so couldn't see the ball land. When my group drove up to the hole I couldn't see my ball but only a feint mark a foot before the hole. I started to get excited but didn't want to jinx myself. Everyone began saying it's definitely in the hole, and sure enough, there she was. Did not feel bad about buying drinks afterwards. Finished the round at 76; this is my home course and a personal record for me. Suffice to say I'll be playing the Prov1x exclusively from now on. Thanks team Titelist!
