I just had my first ever hole-in-one this past weekend at my collegiate golf tournament; it was our Conference Championship. My team was behind 6 strokes the first day, and we had to come back hard to win the second day. When I walked up to the hardest par 3 on the course, I was so nervous. This hole has water surrounding all sides with a bunker on the front-left side. The hole was 130 yards exactly with wind in my face. After I hit, I honestly thought it was going in the water. I yelled, "It's gotta go, it's gotta go!" My competitor said, "No it looks good!" It took 2 hops then bounced into the hole. I threw my club in the air and ran circles around the tee box. My coach was screaming and jumping up and down by the green. My teammates dad ran to me and hugged me. It was even better because my dad and my sister were there to see it! The rest of my team did great that day, and we wound up winning our Conference Championship by 12 strokes! Now we are going to Nationals, and could not be more excited. It was truly a great experience I will never forget it for the rest of my life!
