A friend and I played Shadowglen Golf Club in Manor, Texas this last Saturday 3/14/15. On the par 5 7th hole I pull my drive long and left below a group of trees. What I was left with was an 180 yard shot up-hill up and around the group of trees in front of me. Immediately when I hit the shot I was uncertain if I had enough distance as the ground was extremely wet. When we arrived at the green I could not find my ball where I believe it may have come to rest. Upon walking on to the green to remove the flag stick for my friend, I found my second shot at the bottom of the cup. Needless to say we were both speechless.

Two holes later on the par 4 9th hole, my tee shot over a large ravine carried to the green and came to rest 4 feet away from the hole. I then made the putt for an eagle 2.

Never have I had a three hole stretch of 5 under par.

For the double eagle on the par 5 7th I used a Titleist AP2 710 5 iron from 180 yards and a Titleist Pro V1X golf ball. On the par 4 9th I used a Titleist 913 D3 9.5 and a Titleist Pro V1X golf ball.
