My round started out with two bogies, I'm thinking it is going to be one of those days. I came to the third hole, a 155 yard hole slightly downhill. My immediate reaction after striking the ball was the shot was going to be a good one. The ball was headed right at the flag. If fact we all heard the ball hit the flag but no one saw the ball after that. One of the foursome said he thought he saw something go off to the left. I went off to the left of the green while another member of our group went straight to the hole where he found the ball. The ball, apparently, had to drop straight down from the flag into the hole for my second ace. The first was June 5, 1999. Both times it was with a Titleist ball.
