I started playing golf at age 15 at Northdale CC in Tampa, FL...Since then I have been a member at a few clubs, and participated in many a hole in one round of drinks! But never had the privilege to buy the round, until this year.

OK, it was late afternoon April 9, 2014 and I was playing by myself at Horseshoe Bend CC in Roswell, GA. I started off by parring #1 and was relieved to get off without a bogey. At #2 (which is a blind shot, 129 yards uphill to an elevated green, pin was tucked back right). It was somewhat windy and I hit a cut (AP2 PW)...it looked good so I had a little pep in my step. When I got to the green the 4some going by said they think it went in...so I asked them to look for me and they started hooting and screaming it was in!!!! Finally after 35 years I bought the club a round of drinks!
