We play every Friday afternoon here in Florida, and all of my golf partners, over the course of their time playing golf, have scored a hole in one.

Well here we were about a week ago, playing on the Ashley Meadows nine at Nancy Lopez Country Club here in The Villages, FL when we came up to the fourth hole, a 130 yard par 3. I was the first to tee off into about a 20 mph wind with a 7 iron. The ball was hit pretty well, right at the stick, but looked like it would be over the hole. Well to our amazement the ball landed about 5' past the hole and spun back into the hole for a "Hole in One", my first ever.

Needless to say I won the closet to the "pin" contest.
