The story starts a couple weeks earlier when playing a round with clients from Japan and their superstition about the number 4. I had given them a sleeve of Pro v's to start the round and one sleeve was the number 4 . They immediatly ask to switch so I did and I and found out why they want another number. They intern had given me a sleeve on pro V1x number 2 red and I had a great round. I am not really superstitious but then again I will take any help I can get. I was playing the Bimbo JA scramble at BlueBell Country Club in Philadelphia and started and started on hole 5. I was the first to hit on hole 16 with a front flag position at 155 yard and hit at 8 iron number 2 Prov 1x .. My first hole in one. I put the ball away for safe keeping and took out another Pro vix number 2 . We made the turn and I qualified for the putting contest. We had 14 qualifiers and I made it to the 50 foot 20,000 dollar putt . I have attached the Utube of what happened next ...
