While on vacation in Washington State, my wife and I were able to play Canterwood Golf and Country Club. I struck a nice 8 iron from 144 yards. I was thinking "wow, it sure would be nice to hit it this perfectly strait every time - it would certainly improve my chances of ever getting a hole in one". The ball landed about 4 yards short but this green had an away slope in the front so it bounced forward, rolled, and hit the pin hard enough for me to hear it.
