December 1, 2017 we caught a nice early winter day. Sun was shining at Stone Canyon Golf Club in Independence, Missouri and temperature at our 10 a.m tee time was low 40's with the wind gusting 15-20 mph. Started out with a little trouble on number one with bogey. Got to number two which is a par three. The pin was on right lower level of the green which slopes from left to right at 115 yards. Normally a wedge to 115 would get the job done but with wind gusting in our face I decided to hit a knock down 8 iron. Struck the ball nicely with a slight pull. The ball landed on the crest of the green left center, caught the slope and rolled right and into the hole. Definitely made up for the bogey on number one!
