We started out late in the day and the course was backed up so as we came around to the last hole we would play; (#9) we had just enough daylight to finish. I went up first and set up with a 7 iron and an old titleist HP2 Distance and swung away. It hit the hill on the green and was rolling towards the hole and vanished due to the low visibility. Everyone hit their shots and I kept looking for where my ball was hiding since i knew it was tight. As we drove up i still couldn't see where it was and I thought I either went too far over or something. I walked up to the hole and sure enough it was in the hole resting next to the pin. I yelled at the top of my lungs and jumped for joy as I would not have expected this for a looooong time as i have been playing for just under a year. Hopefully i have more to come as my golf career has definitely just begun.
