On Feb 27th, hole no.8 at Oakmarsh Golf Course in Oakdale MN I was faced with a 198yd par3. With the temp at 35* and 15mph winds into my face I made my first HIO. My buddy and I was playing a twosome and expecting our 3rd to join us later. I decided to go with my 16* hybrid because of the wind. I hit the prefect shot, never left the flag. Hit the green and rolled about 10yds into the hole. I could only see the ball running cause it was partly cloudy. I told my buddy I think it went in! He said no way. (He can't see far lol). I said I saw it rolling but dont see the ball on the green? As we walked up, or 3rd gut started walking towards the hole but I didn't realize it was him. As we got closer to the green my buddy said your ball probably went pass the green. I told him it couldn't cause it didn't roll that fast. But I looked past the green and nothing! Then he said check the hole. As I walked closer my heart was pounding thinking please Lord let it be in the hole. As I crept towards the hole slowly, I saw half the hole and no ball was there. My heart sunked. Then I took one more step and BAM saw the edge of my ProV1x sitting on the side I was on. You bet I screamed like a kid. My 3rd buddy said oh Sh*t he probably got a hole in one. Sure did buddy, sure did.
