I am the Executive Director of The 100 Club, a 62 year old Houston, TX organization that provides financial support for the dependent families of peace officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty in 31 counties surrounding Houston.

I was playing in our Club's 27th annual golf tournament at the Blackhorse Golf Club outside of Houston in Cypress, TX, and selected a 9 wood on hole #6 on the South course (143 yards). The ball hit the stick and dropped into the cup giving me my very first ace.

To add to the thrill, one of my playing partners, who witnessed the shot, was the Houston Police Chief Charles McClelland.
