First Hole In One at My New Course

This Hole In One is special as it came on my first round back after about a 6 week break due to hitting a root with a 7-Iron (not a fun experience) and messing up my left wrist. The round had been a good round up to that point I was striking the ball well and the scoring wasn't bad either. Also this was the first day our area had in serval days that was a sunny day, windy yes, but sunny none the less. I had hit good shots into 2 out of the previous par 3's. The Hole In One was happened on number 17 which typically is a hole that gives me problems. By the time we arrived to the 17th tee the wind had picked up significantly, however this time when I stepped onto the tee box I envisioned the same shot I had hit into number 6 which had landed just behind the pin by about 10 feet. The shot was hit with a 9-iron and flighted down just a bit to try and stay under the wind. The ball (Pro V1) landed on the green short and right of the pin and release towards the pin, (the break for the pin position was to the right) as we watched the ball rolling out I thought that it would end up pretty close. As I continued to watch the ball continued to roll and it just disappeared. There are really no words that can properly describe the feeling after you watch a shot drop like that, suffice to say it is a awesome feeling. The best part was having several good friends there to see it happen.
