first day our course opened 3-11-16 for the season, I had my first hole in one at 67 yrs old. I had recently bought a set of 716 ap1's 4 thru w wedge with xp90 stiff shafts. the shot was 102 yds. with the w wedge. the hole is pretty short but it has a big oak tree between the T and green that you have to go over. it catches many a golf ball. I was playing a Titleist velocity ball. I have been playing since 1992 and mainly played Titleist 690 MB's and Titleist balls. my current index is 7.4. I also have a set of 716 MB's with tour issue s400 shafts ( 3-pw ) and 710 ap2's 3-pw. needless to say I'm pretty excited for the weather to warm up so I can get to playing again, but so far it's a great start.
