I've had a hole in one before, but it was on a par-3 golf course and the shot was only 89 yards (plus I was playing by myself), so I don't count it. I have also had a Hole in 3-in a college tournament I dunked my tee shot in the water on a par 3, but since there wasn't a drop area and I didn't cross the hazard line, I just had to re-tee. I holed out for a par-equally impressive as an ace, but still not legit! Flash forward 13 years, and many close calls later, and I can finally add a hole in one to my golfing resume! I was supposed to golf on my birthday, but my wife and kids got sick. So I had to reschedule for the next week. That round was well worth the wait! I made my hole in one on the 167 yard 4th hole at Tiffany Green's Golf Club in Kansas City. The wind was blowing pretty hard (10-15 mph) left to right and in. I went up a club to a 6 iron to try and keep it under the wind a little. Started it right out over the water, and cut it back in; nearly holed the shot! Nobody in my group saw it go in, including myself, but it was an awesome surprise when we got to the green! I'm all Titleist in the bag (why would you use anything else?), Titleist MB714 irons and Pro V1X balls.
